FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing transpupillary laser coagulation at the first treatment stage. The coagulates are placed on the vascular retina behind the roll and along the avascular retina boundary and between vascular arcades. Transscleral marginal retina periphery cryocoagulation is carried out at the second stage. The coagulates are arranged in chessboard order between the direct eye muscles. Disinfection instillation is carried out after treatment. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced number of complications; complete block of avascular retina zones.
