FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control devices of vehicle engine units with mechanical multiple-speed gearboxes. proposed automatic gearshift mechanism has gearshift rod and gear selector rod installed in mechanical gearbox with axes intersecting at direct angle, and pneumatic with diaphragms secured on ends of rods. Rods are connected in their middle parts with lever arranged symmetrically relative to rods. lever on gear selector rod is installed for turning through required angle along axis of gearshift rod. Return springs providing self-return of rods into neutral position lock the rods in neutral position. Slot-type contactless pickups located in upper part of housing put out signals indicating position of rods which are transmitted by wires to electromagnetic valve cluster of driving mode setter. EFFECT: simplified design, provision of accurate positioning of gearshift mechanism rods in neutral. 2 dwg
