FIELD: polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention describes cross-linked polymer absorbing aqueous liquid comprising of partially neutralized monomers containing monoethylene-unsaturated acidic groups. Polymer is synthesized by using mixture of cross-linking agent with monomer from I. cross-linking agent, II. monomer, III. cross-linking agent and/or di-, respectively, triallylamine and/or bis-acrylamide where R1 means polyatomic C2-10-alkyl; R2 means direct or branched C2-10-alkenyl; R3 means H, CH3, C2H5; R4 means H, direct or branched C1-10-alkyl; R5 means CO, CH2; R6 means H, CH3; x has value from 2 to 6; u has value from 0 to 15; v has value from 1 to 45; z has value from 3 to 20. Also, invention describes method of synthesis of cross-linked polymer absorbing aqueous liquids. Synthesized polymers show retentivity capacity at high absorption degree under pressure.
