FIELD: processing of water-containing polymeric gels. SUBSTANCE: variants of method allow more uniform and economical separation of polymeric gels. For this purpose use is made of device containing two rolls. One of rolls is made split with at least one longitudinally cutting member secured on it, with circular cutting edge, positioned radially and with laterally cutting member positioned in direction of roll axis and also secured to roll. Second roll constitutes pair with first one. In second variant device contains laterally-split roll with laterally cutting member and twin roll positioned axially in parallel to first roll with clearance for passage of water-containing polymeric gel and capability of rotation in different directions. In this case, longitudinally split roll with longitudinally cutting member is positioned in front of laterally-split roll. EFFECT: improved design. 24 cl, 4 dwg
