FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly, sleeve-type flexible couplings; applicable for connection of shafts and other rotating members of machines and mechanisms under conditions of dynamic and reversing loads. SUBSTANCE: gear coupling consists of cylindrical external half-coupling with gear ring located on its internal cylindrical surface and cylindrical internal half-coupling with gear ring located on its external cylindrical surface. Half-couplings are coaxially located in each other with circular gap between them. Novelty consists in that coupling has connecting member ensuring possible axial and angular motions of driving and driven members. Connecting member is made in the form of hollow cylinder which is installed in circular gap coaxially to each half-coupling and rigidly secured to external half-coupling for possible removal of connecting member. Made on external and internal surfaces of cylinder are gear rings coming in contact, respectively, with internal gear ring of external half-couping and external gear ring of internal half-coupling.
