RAIL VEHICLE RUNNING GEAR BODY-TO-BOGIE BAR SUSPENSION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2241624 C1

FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for connecting frames and bodies with vehicle running gear bogies. Proposed bar suspension unit has cylindrical bushing, cylindrical alignment sleeve, alignment support washer, connecting unit support and washer installed under attachment nut. Cylindrical journal is made on end of rod opposite to shank. Cylindrical alignment bead is made on end face of journal and thrust bead with conical support surface. Bushing is coaxially rigidly secured on journal. Ring cylindrical projection is made on end face of sleeve, and alignment cavity is made on end face part of projection. Sleeve is installed on bushing coaxially. Alignment cavity is made on end face of support washer. Central hole of support washer has conical support surface mated with cylindrical alignment surface. Conical support surface of hole interacts with conical support surface of thrust bead of journal, and cylindrical surface of hole of support washer interacts with surface of cylindrical alignment bead of journal. Each hinge joint consists of cross and upper and lower yokes interconnected by cross. Each yoke is provided with flange with ring alignment bead. Alignment groove is made on end face surface of support to form flat butt-joining surface. Spring is installed coaxially on sleeve, its end coils thrusting respectively against support surface of cylindrical projection of sleeve and support surface of alignment cavity in support washer. Butt-joining surface of ring alignment bead of flange of upper joint yoke is in contact with butt-joining surface of alignment cavity of sleeve thrust bead, and butt-joining surface of ring alignment bead of lower yoke flange of upper joint is in contact with butt-joining surface of butt-joining unit. Butt-joining surface of ring alignment bead of lower yoke flange of lower joint is in contact with end face surface of nut washer, and butt-joining surface of ring alignment bead of upper yoke flange of lower joint interacts with butt-joining surface of support of connecting unit.

EFFECT: improved operation reliability.
