FIELD: cooling towers for circulating water supply systems of power plants and industrial enterprises. SUBSTANCE: cell-type cooling tower includes tower proper, supply pipe lines and water distributing systems, sprinkler mounted under them and water catcher mounted above them and air intake ports; cooling tower has two cells: inner cell and peripheral cell which are circular in shape; supply pipe line of inner cell is provided with shut-off fittings and pipe lines of water distributing systems of both cells have flow sections reducing towards center of tower. Cooling tower is additionally provided with radial partitions mounted at level of ports and provided with sections projecting beyond outer contour of tower.
