FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heating engineering, namely to water-cooling towers of recycling water supply systems at power plants and industrial enterprises. A water-cooling tower comprises a tower with a water catcher, a water distributor with sprayers and a sprinkler being set inside sequentially from top downward. The lower tower part is equipped by air inlet ports and a basin where dampers turnable by wind or a manual drive are mounted on vertical axles eccentrically; the damper part of greater square is placed inside the tower when opened and the ports are fitted with adjusters to fix the damper when closed. Each damper can be opened by the air flow incoming into the water-cooling tower and hermetically closed by the outgoing air flow. Each air inlet port is equipped by two adjacent groups of dampers each of them having 5 dampers which are kinematically interconnected by rods, can turn simultaneously and can be fixed in the intermediary opened or closed state. Each damper is made as a multilayered rectangular panel with inner and outer covering from corrosion resistant material and with heat insulation material placed inside; the panels are bordered with roll-formed channel forming the damper end faces.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of cooling water in the water-cooling tower.
