FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, namely cooling towers of recirculating water supply systems of power plants and industrial enterprises. Section cooling tower includes a tower, in the tower along its circumference internal and peripheral water-cooling sections are installed, each of the sections is equipped with a water trap, water-distributing pipelines and a sprinkler installed in the tower one above the other, from top to bottom, wherein sprinkler is made common for internal and peripheral water-cooling sections in form of trapezoidal sectors located around vertical transmission shaft, each of the sectors is formed by two horizontal radial metal beams, on the metal bars there is a metal mesh flooring, in which in its peripheral part there is a process opening with a mesh cover with the possibility of installation of a conveyor relative to it with the help of its supply through a process opening of sprinkler units during installation from sprinkler units on the sprinkler netting and removal of sprinkler units.
EFFECT: improving cooling efficiency of water in sectional cooling tower due to improvement of sprinkler mounting quality, its optimum location relative to water distributional system of sectional cooling tower and provision of possibility of qualitative maintenance of section cooling tower equipment.
