FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: cooling tower contains tower with installed in it water distribution system, water trap and sprinkler. In the tower bottom part there are air intake windows and basin, and butterfly dampers are installed on vertical axes in the air outlet windows. Area before each damper is divided by the vertical axis to two unequal parts, the water distribution system is made by the identical, flat, near installed water spraying sections installed under the water trap and above sprayer. The water spraying sections are connected to the water supply risers, the water distributing system is made by two water spraying section, each section is connected to own water supply pipeline located under the sprayer above the basin by means of the water supply risers, each of them at output is connected to own horizontal water distributing pipeline in its middle. The later are installed parallel to each other and are connected with system of parallel water delivery pipelines, on which the water spraying nozzles are installed; they are uniformly distributed along the water delivery pipelines, bore diameter of the water distributing pipelines is reduced gradually in the direction from the point of connection to the water supply riser. The water spraying sections are located symmetrically relatively to the vertical axis of the cooling tower, each section is equipped with one water supply riser, the section risers are located in parallel to each other along the vertical axis of the cooling tower; the water distributing pipelines are located along diameter of the inscribed circle of the tower cross-section; to the water distributing pipelines the parallel water drainage pipelines are connected, using them the water distributing pipelines are connected with the water delivery pipelines, the water drainage pipelines are made gradually reducing in direction from the water delivery pipeline to the wall of the cooling tower, and are located at right angle to the water distributing pipelines, the and sections of the water drainage pipelines of each section are connected with each other by the peripheral pipelines located along the inscribed circle of the tower cross-section, and water spraying nozzles of the adjacent water delivery pipelines are located in staggered order relatively to each other.

EFFECT: increased water uniformity between the water spraying sections and along cross-section of the cooling towers, and due to this power consumption decreasing for water cooling.
