FIELD: electrical engineering; devices enabling parallel running of synchronous generators. SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in device for parallel running of synchronous generators are one turn-off thyristor unit and one non-turn-off thyristor unit inserted in three-phase stator winding circuit of generator. Device enables turning on generators for parallel running simply by closing knife-blade switch, eliminating equalizing currents, varying electromagnetic torques, eliminating transient shocks in generator sets and voltage dips in supply mains, reducing requirement to personnel skill. EFFECT: facilitated throwing of non-synchronized generators in line, enhanced safety and improved protection of generator windings from reverse currents. 3 dwg
