FIELD: radio communication. SUBSTANCE: there are proposed updated method and facility for commutation of level of radio communication interface of wireless telephone call from cellular system of code-division multiple access (CDMA) to cellular global mobile communication system with time-division multiple access to channel in process of telephone call or any information exchange. In accordance with one variant of realization of invention assemblage of base stations operating in agreement with GSM standard generates pilot signals of radio beacons in correspondence with code-division multiple access method. In process of telephone call subscriber's module identifies pilot signals from CDMA system and notifies controller of base stations as to detection of CDMA pilot signals and level with which they were received. Controller of base stations identifies CDMA pilot signals from CDMA radio beacon and initiates switching over from CDMA servicing system to GSM servicing system. EFFECT: reliable switching over from CDMA communication system to GSM communication system. 4 cl, 6 dwg
