FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotavator has frame carrying central reducer, side reducer and rotary cylinder with horizontal shaft. Knives are mounted on cylinder surface. Central reducer is connected to side reducer through couplings by means of transmission shaft. Intermediate shaft is positioned forward of central reducer on frame and is connected through clutch to kinetic energy accumulator made in the form of flywheel, which is connected through safety clutch to high-speed shaft of central reducer. Rotavator may be used for deep soil tillage. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
