FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying Ilizarov apparatus over the talocrural articulation area at the first stage. Distraction is carried out until the lost distance between the calcaneus and the tibia is recreated. Fibula osteotomy is carried out at the second stage without taking off the Ilizarov apparatus and necrotized areas of the talus are removed. A so created defect is substituted with an iliac bone autograft. Fibula osteosynthesis is carried out. EFFECT: repaired anatomic structure of the malleolus, talocrural articulation shape; prevented osteoporosis development. 2 dwg
