BAUXITE LEACHING PROCESS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2193524 C2

FIELD: inorganic compounds technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silica production and can be used in bauxite pressure leaching process. In the process, bauxite pulp is continuously pumped by means of piston pump through autoclave installation, said pulp being preheated in heater utilizing leached pulp heat and then finally heated by heat-and-power station steam at pressure 20 to 30 atm to achieve reaction temperature in upper steam-supply heating autoclave(s). Pulp flow is given pulsing state utilizing pulsation produced in the steam-pulp heat-exchange process wherein pulp is fed into heating autoclave in the form of continuous homogenous jet. Yield of product is increased by 1.1-1.6%. EFFECT: intensified process. 1 dwg
