FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for construction and repair of railway tracks. proposed device has frame hinge mounted on track machine, post hinge secured on frame, ballast vibrating tamper hinge secured by its middle part on post, and frame lifting and lowering hydraulic cylinder. Device is furnished with tie-rod secured on post for connected the post with track machine. Spring shock absorbers with stops for interaction with ballast tamper are secured on post. Shock absorbers are arranged at both side of hinge joint securing vibrating tamper along and across said vibrating tamper. Frame consists of two L-shaped levers hinge secured by their horizontal flanges on track machine. Post is hinge connected to vertical flanges of levers. EFFECT: improved reliability of device and quality of ballast tamping. 4 dwg
