TRANSMISSION OF ROTATION FROM ONE ISOLATED CAVITY TO ANOTHER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2193705 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; mechanisms for transmission of rotary motion from one cavity to another through flexible hermetic or non-hermetic envelope. SUBSTANCE: proposed transmission includes crank mounted in bearings and connected with drive shaft; this crank is made in form of sleeve with inclined inner hole whose axis intersects axis of crank. Transmission includes also rocker arm whose one arm is received by inner hole of crank and flexible envelope rigidly secured on body and rocker arm separating low- and high-pressure cavities. Second arm is connected with wheel thrown into engagement with wheel coaxially connected with driven shaft; rims of wheels and driven shaft are coaxial relative to crank. EFFECT: possibility of transmitting rotary motion from one isolated cavity to another at ratio other than1:1; enhanced reliability; simplified construction. 12 cl, 11 dwg
