FIELD: rolled stock production, namely cooling rolling rolls, mainly in continuous rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes successively arranged: unit for supplying cooling agent onto rolls and unit for feeding compressed air having distributing member mounted coaxially with possibility of rotation in casing. Said member is in the form of shaft with circumferential ducts mutually spaced by pitch equal to 1.8-3.2 of diameter of circle with area equivalent to cross section area of duct. Shaft has along it at least two flats. Casing includes lengthwise groove. Casing and one flat restrict cavity connected with pipeline for feeding compressed air. Edge of other flat and one edge of lengthwise groove of casing are arranged in such a way that they form nozzles arranged along shaft. On opposite edge of lengthwise groove there is elastic sealing member. Invention allows to increase cooling and cut-off capability of apparatus due to using energy of condensed moisture by feeding it for cutting off cooling agent while preventing penetration of mixture of cooling agent and condensed moisture to deformation zone.
