CUTTING TOOL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B23B27/16

Abstract RU 2281188 C1

FIELD: mechanical operations, particularly turning lathe tools.

SUBSTANCE: cutting cool comprises body with guiding means, resilient member and cutting member, as well as screw gear mating self-breaking worm-gear connected to limb by handle. To reduce initial pulse during tool cutting into part to be machined and tool retraction the cutting tool is fastened to holder mounted in the body. The holder is restricted from axial rotation by means of bar. Front holder part is made as ball bearing, rear part is conical and may mate with transition bush through resilient member for tool having conical shank installation. The bush may reciprocate in axial direction along guiding means and is connected to above screw gear.

EFFECT: increased efficiency.
