FIELD: mining industry; applicable in storage of water-soluble wastes, for instance, wastes of potassium production (salt wastes). SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of pulp with use of saturated brine as carrying fluid and direction of sands to bed of salt dump. Hydraulic filling is carried out with use of hydraulic cyclone installed on end of pulp line. Discharge of hydraulic cyclone is directed at once to mixer to which nonsaturated brines are added. Their volume is sufficient for dissolving the solid phase found in hydraulic cyclone discharge. Directed to salt dump are sands of hydraulic cyclone. Technical result of the invention consists in provision of erection of high-level tailing dump by hydraulic filling onto soft base and reduced expenses for return of carrying fluid for pulp preparation.
