FIELD: mechanical engineering; threaded joints and methods of locking such joints. SUBSTANCE: used as locking member is wedge-type key made from copper or aluminum alloy at inclination towards screwing the nut received by longitudinal slot found on surface of bolt at depth equal to depth of thread; inclination of insert is equal to inclination of straight line connecting point in bottom of thread of bolt and crest of thread at section where insert is located. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of locking due to enhanced friction and interference in thread. 2 dwg
