FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to threaded joints and methods of their locking. According to invention, nut has two threaded sections, initial section with full profile and final section, with incomplete profile of thread whose outer diameter from section border converges over cone with inner diameter of thread on nut rear end face. Length of incomplete profile thread section is maintained within 2-3 pitches of thread. Invention provides locking of threaded joint owing to increased friction between thread turns at final section and interference. EFFECT: provision of high reliability of locking. 2 cl, 1 dwg
