FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: nut comprises housing made of metallic cylindrical spiral spring provided with the inner thread and engaging members made of projections at the ends of turns. The diameter of the inner thread is less than that of the female part. The spring is threaded when it is compressed and released. The carrier projections are bent in radial or radial-axial direction with respect to the vertical axis of the nut.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and simplified structure.
