FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has head unit adapted for treatment of surface and comprised of frame member and plurality of surface treatment members, which are extending from frame member toward surface to be treated. Each of surface treatment members is resiliently attached to frame member through related resilient fastening device equipped with flexible part. Apparatus is further provided with drive plate having lower surface, from which surface treatment member is extending. Upper surface of drive plate has central portion with slot for receiving drive member providing rotation of apparatus. Slot is furnished with construction for receiving flexible part adapted for engagement with drive member. Such construction allows irregularities of surface under treatment process to be independently followed. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 33 cl, 29 dwg
