ARMY KIT MATERIAL DEGASSING METHOD Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2194556 C2

FIELD: protection from physiologically active substances. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing contaminated samples into working chamber of drum-type microwave unit and closing charging opening; filling working chamber with processing solution for one minute at temperature of 20 C; washing samples for 10 min at water temperature of 40 C and drum rotational speed of 40'min-1; draining used processing solution and providing centrifugal squeezing for one minute at rotational speed of drum of 220' min-1;. After squeezing sample moisture content is 100-120% providing effective dielectric heating of samples for complete drying of samples. Such thermal treating is final operation, which is performed for 30 min at temperature in working chamber of 70 C and rotational speed of internal drum of 40' min-1. Upon termination of treatment, moisture content of samples does not exceed 30%. Method is used for degassing of army kit material contaminated with drops of condensed physiologically active substance such as organophosphate. EFFECT: increased efficiency in protecting army kit materials. 1 tbl
