MEANS FOR CHEMICAL DEGASING OF HIGH-TOXIC SUBSTANCES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2232613 C2

FIELD: chemical means for combating harmful chemical agents, particularly means for chemical degassing of high-toxic substances.

SUBSTANCE: means for degassing high-toxic substances, particularly 2,2'-dichlordiethylsulphide, 2-chlorvinyldichlorarsyl, O-alkyl-methyl-fluorophosphonate, O-ethyl-5(2-diethylaminoethyl)-methyl thiophosphonate is formed as aqueous solution including salt with anion and copper (II) salt. Molar relation between quantity of above components and initial content of high-toxicity substance is not less than 1. Sodium metadisulphite Na2S2O5 is used as salt with anion. Pentahydrate copper sulfate CuSO4·5H2O is used as copper (II) salt. These components are highly soluble in water, low toxic, easy to obtain and are widely produced by chemical industry. The components may be stored in dry state for a long time period. The components do not need any additional treatment before above means preparation or do not require special equipment usage. The means may be used with different technical equipment.

EFFECT: possibility of treating water, territories, equipment and technical equipment.
