PROCEDURE TO DECONTAMINATE MATERIALS OF ARMY OUTFITS WITH USE OF SOLUTIONS ACTIVATED ELECTROCHEMICALLY Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2203708 C2

FIELD: defense measures against chemical attack, protection against physiologically active substances. SUBSTANCE: while specimens are treated in installation of drum type electrochemically activated solution of sodium chloride-alkaline catholyte synthesized by plant (given in the specification) is used in the capacity of working fluid ( degassing formulation ). Procedure of decontamination of materials of army outfits contaminated by dripping- fluid phosphorus-organic physiologically active substance consists in treatment of specimens in the course of 30 min in rotating perforated drum turning with rotational speed of 40 min-1 in medium of solution of sodium chloride-alkaline catholyte with pH = 12,5±0,2 activated electrochemically and at temperature of 20 C in 10.0 l/kg liquid module. Procedure makes it feasible to increase markedly capabilities of technical means of special treatment of army outfits and of individual protection aids thanks to diminished time of their treatment, to raised productivity and simplified system of supply of decontaminating formulations and substances for their preparation. EFFECT: raised productivity and diminished time of treatment of army outfits.
