SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel guanidyl heterocyclic compounds of the formula (I) where R₁ means H, alkyl or absent; when R₁ absent then bond (a) is a double one, D means CR₂ where R₂ is taken among H, alkyl, halogen atom, or when B means CR₃ then D can mean N; B means NR₉, CR₃=CR₈, CR₃, S where R₉ means H, alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl and where R₃ and R₈ are taken among H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or cyano-group; each of R₄, R₅, R₆ is taken independently among H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cyano-group or NH=C(=NR₁₀)NHR₁₁ (guanidinyl); R₁₀ and R₁₁ are taken among H, methyl and ethyl and where only one of R₁, R₅ and R₆ means guanidinyl; R₇ is taken among H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl and halogen atom. These compounds show agonistic activity with respect to alpha-2 adrenoceptors and therefore in common with pharmaceutically acceptable carrier can form pharmaceutical composition. Invention relates also to method of activation of alpha-2 adrenoceptors for prophylaxis and treatment of diseases when agonists of alpha-2 adrenoceptors are effective agents for diseases relief.
