DNA fragments encode proteins of transferring receptor of strains DL 63 or Eagan Haemophilus influenzae of type B or nontyping strains PAK 12085, SB 33, SB 12, SB 29, SB 30 or SB 32 of Haemophilus influenzae. Amino acid sequences of encoding proteins are given in the invention description. Plasmid vector is adapted for transformation of E. coli and comprises one of enumerated DNA fragments. Recombinant protein is produced by E. coli transformed with one of indicated DNA fragments. Amino acid sequences of isolated and purified proteins TBP1 and TBP2 are given in the invention description. Immunogenic composition is prepared as vaccine for in vivo administration and comprises the isolated and purified protein TP1 or TP2 of strain Haemophilus influenzae and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
