FIELD: mining, particularly, methods of determining mine working roof, walls and bottom pressures. SUBSTANCE: method consists in drilling of measuring hole in mine working, installation of rock pressure pickup into measuring hole and formation of slot on both sides of hole. Slot is formed by drilling of number of relief holes which are located by pairs symmetrically relative to measuring hole in a line to form gradually lengthening slot. As slot length and its bending rise, rock pressure is measured and dynamics of increase of rock pressure onto all components of mine workings is determined. Obtained results are used for construction of rock pressure versus slot length calibration graph. Said graph is used for determination of rock pressure at any conditions of mine working position and variation of its linear sizes of its members - wall, roof or bottom. EFFECT: higher accuracy of rock pressure determination and determination of dynamics of increase of rock pressure with increase of linear sizes of mine workings. 4 dwg
