FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in production of high-pressure bottles from aluminum alloys AMg5 and Amg6. Manufacturing method consists in successive conversion of flat workpiece into cap with flat bottom drawing without walls thinning. Prior to each exhaust transition billet is heated in furnace to temperature of recrystallization. Tool is coated with an antifriction composition with fluorine-containing surfactants. Edge is cut off at hollow semi-finished product to be crimped in 2–4 junctions in hot state and shaped to upper part of housing with neck. Then thread is cut in it for installation of shutoff valves.

EFFECT: higher quality of bottles.
