FIELD: storage and delivery of liquid propellant in spacecraft working in deep space. SUBSTANCE: ullage of propellant tank is preliminarily connected with reservoir of known reference volume before equal static pressure has been built up in them and then pressurization of ullages of propellant tank and reference volume reservoir is effected by delivery of portions of gas till preset pressure increments have been obtained. Amount of propellant is calculated as difference between total volume and ullage of tank according to definite dependence given in Specification.
