METHOD MEASURING ANGULAR ACCELERATION OF SHAFT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: automatic control systems, measurement technology, instruments measuring acceleration. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of method consists in formation on ferritegarnet plate of cylindrical magnetic domains which rotate around shaft with speed substantially higher than rotation speed of shaft. Detectors of cylindrical magnetic domains detect them and measure time intervals of passage of domains between two detectors. Cylindrical magnetic domains are spaced one from another by distance equal to constant angle. Two detectors are coupled to shaft and are positioned above trajectory of movement of cylindrical magnetic domains. Running time of first cylindrical magnetic domain from first detector to second detector and running time of second cylindrical magnetic domain from first detector to second detector are measured. Angular acceleration is determined by expression given in description of invention. EFFECT: increased accuracy, high-speed and simplified approach to realization of method. 1 dwg
