FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is designed to measure electric resistance of insulation of energized bunched conductors and cables. Invention refers to electric measurement technology, specifically, to automated testing systems. It is utilized to test resistance of insulation in networks of electrical and radio engineering articles. In compliance with invention capacitor of known rating is connected in parallel with measured circuit, time constant of transient process is measured and parameters of insulation of circuit are determined with due account of measured initial and final values of voltage. EFFECT: provision for galvanic isolation of measured and measurement circuits which is achieved thanks to usage of capacitor of known capacitance as shunting element, simplified method to compute parameters of measured circuit. 5 dwg
