FIELD: installations using pulsed exposure by ultraviolet radiation to conduct photostimulating processes. SUBSTANCE: lamp has bulb formed by dielectric tubes mounting extended cylindrical reflecting electrodes, output aperture, and pulsed power supply connected to electrodes. Dielectric tubes are coaxially disposed and connected at butt end of external tube through output aperture, opposite end of internal tube being plugged. In addition dielectric tube is newly introduced in discharge gap to tightly join open end of external tube on one side and open end of internal tube, on other side. Internal dielectric tube may have projection at point of its connection to additional tube, length of projection being L1 = (0,1-2)d1, where L1 is projection length, d1 is internal tube diameter. At point of connection to external tube additional dielectric tube may have projection of length L2 = (0,1-2)d2, where L2 is projection length; d2 is internal tube diameter. EFFECT: enhanced pulsed radiation power density and output beam diameter; improved uniformity of beam power density distribution over its cross-sectional area. 3 cl, 1 dwg
