FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: pulse signal of radial artery is registered for 2-3 min. Peculiar points of single fluctuations for systolic and diastolic waves are detected in this signal. Phase duration between the top of systolic wave and that of diastolic one is measured. It is developed a dynamic sequence showing the dependence of this parameter against the number of a period. Spectral analysis of developed sequence is carried out in frequency spectrum of 0.001-0.5 Hz divided into 3 frequency regions. The probability for disease (P) is calculated by the suggested mathematical formula. The method enables to improve the diagnostics of earlier stages of hypertonic disease, in children's and juvenile age period in persons in case of no pronounced increase of blood pressure.
