FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and paediatrics. Adolescent boys are examined for the concentrations of diene conjugates, ketodienes and conjugated trienes, an antioxidant activity level, superoxide dismutase activity, total cholesterol, low-density lipoproteins. Prognostic coefficients and a risk of essential arterial hypertension (EAH) are calculated by original mathematical formula.
EFFECT: method enables accurate prediction of the risk of EAH in adolescent boys, early therapeutic and preventive actions suppressing the development of said pathology.
