FIELD: test technique; thermal-and-vacuum tests of space equipment and other objects that must possess high in-service reliability. SUBSTANCE: method includes temperature control of part under test by heaters, measurement of current temperatures of part under test, and comparison of measurement results with permissible temperatures; tests are conducted in vacuum and temperature is controlled by feeding control voltage to heaters, this voltage being found from formula Ucrnt = Upr+k×dU, where is current value of heater control voltage; Upt is previous value of heater control voltage; k is factor experimentally chosen depending on position of current temperature relative to low and upper values of permissible temperature, as well as depending on rate and direction of temperature variation with time; dU is control voltage increment. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of test results, reduced labor consumption.
