FIELD: blinker units and gas dynamics. SUBSTANCE: method includes following procedures: driver is used in plasma generator both for accelerating flat liner within axisymmetrical chamber to compress working gas supplied from solid-state source placed on inner surface of chamber symmetrically to its axis followed by cumulation of compressed gas near outlet opening of chamber to form plasma and to produce light source by bringing plasma to enclosed space containing inert gas and for accelerating particle beam simultaneously with liner acceleration during its reverse motion in which case particles suffer thermochemical transforms, that is reactions of burning and detonation which enhances, together with plasma emission within inert gas space, luminous intensity and emission time of proposed blinker unit. Thermochemical processes can be controlled by varying relative content of metal particles, active, inert, and catalytic dopes in particle beam, varying relative position of particle beam and driver, and also driver geometry. Device implementing proposed method is disclosed in description of invention. EFFECT: enhanced driver energy-to-light energy conversion factor for different plasma generators by more than order of magnitude. 12 cl, 1 dwg
