FIELD: mining industry; applicable in mineral opencast mining from steeply dipping deposits with use of automobile transport with location of overburden rocks in internal dumps. SUBSTANCE: method includes delivery of rocks to place of their location by automobile transport, construction of permanent and temporary cross-overs, simultaneous location of rocks in several tiers. The first tier of dump is filled with continuous convex front. The second and other tiers are filled with convex-concave front with break in center of convex part made for location of access roads to underlying adjacent tiers. Adjacent front convex and concave parts are oriented to each other at an angle close to right one. Concave part of front is transferred in direction to dump longitudinal axis and convex part, to dump periphery. EFFECT: higher intensity of extension of work front and increased dump capacity. 5 dwg
