FIELD: mechanical engineering; lock-on connections for securing automobile wheels to balancing machine shaft. SUBSTANCE: quick-detachable closing unit includes body whose butt rests against part on bearing member with handles and threaded member. Shaft is smooth and body is provided with thread on its inner surface. Threaded member is made in form of intermediate bush with external thread thrown into engagement with thread of body. Located between bush having external thread and shaft is bush-separator having longitudinal slot on side of front butt and radial seats located on opposite side over circle; these seats are used for receiving locking members. Seats on inner surface of bushseparator have holes on side of shaft whose diameters are lesser than diameter of locking member; intermediate bush provided with external thread on side of front butt has rigidly secured guide member received by longitudinal slot of bush-separator for axial motion in slot; on opposite end of intermediate bush provided with external thread there is taper part located opposite seats with locking members. Movable locking members transmit radial force to shaft in locked position created by pressing taper part of lesser diameter of intermediate bush provided with external thread at axial displacement from front butt of body due to rotation of body in one direction; they are unlocked at axial displacement of intermediate bush provided with external thread towards butt of body due to rotation of body in opposite direction.
