FIELD: metal working, namely metal cutting processes and equipment.

SUBSTANCE: tool includes body in which cutting tip with aperture is mounted in angular seat by means of headed rod with threaded end. In through stepped opening of tool body coaxially with rod first and second sleeves are arranged. Said sleeves have end faces inclined relative to rod axis and they are mutually engaged with possibility of shifting second sleeve towards axis of rod and with possibility of engagement with it. In order to enhance strength and rigidity of cutting part of tool, opening of first sleeve at side of end normal relative to rod axis is threaded for engaging with threaded end of rod. Surface of second sleeve normal relative to rod axis engages with flat surface of washer placed on bottom of through stepped opening of body. Screw is arranged in said stepped opening for orienting inclined to rod axis end surfaces of sleeves towards apex of angular seat; said screw engages with lengthwise groove of first sleeve. Cutting tip supports chip breaker in the form of plate whose end surface designed for engaging with cut chip is inclined relative to front surface of cutting tip and it is turned towards its apex and main cutting edge. Head of rod passing through said through opening in plate of chip breaker is arranged in recess of chip breaker at side of its lateral surface which is opposite relative to its other lateral surface engaging with front surface of cutting tip. Tool may be made in the form of cutter.

EFFECT: enhanced strength of tool.
