FIELD: metal working processes and devices, namely tools with mechanical fastening of cutting tips.

SUBSTANCE: tool includes body, cutting tip with hole secured to angular seat of tool body by means of rod having threaded end with nut, chip breaker in the form of plate with recess and with opening for passing rod, sleeve with spherical end engaged with cone surface of through stepped opening of body. In order to provide possibility for changing cutting tip without dismounting tool, rod is made as double-step one and diameters of its steps are increased from threaded end of rod to its head. Said rod is arranged in through stepped opening of tool body. In recess of chip breaker threaded rod and nut engaged with bottom of recess of plate of chip breaker are arranged. Small-diameter step of rod passes in through stepped opening of body, hole of cutting tip and opening of plate of chip breaker. Head of rod is placed in through stepped opening of tool body and it has centering collar.

EFFECT: improved design of tool, possibility for changing cutting tip without dismounting tool.
