FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dynamically examining urine samples in polarized light. To do it, urine drop is placed on microscope slide and covered with cover glass. The preparation is hold until expressed typical structures become visible on the cover glass. Polarized optical examination is carried out by scanning the whole sample surface. Scanning results are analyzed. Combined or single dendrite, spherolyte, spherodendrite patterns, lamellar crystals, salt crystals of various structures, chambers containing predominating needle-shaped crystals being observed, no pathological disorders are considered to be detected. Combined or single geometric dendrites, cellular structure and atypical patterns with predominating large spherodendrites, lamellar or needle-shaped crystals being observed, some pathological disorder is considered to be the case. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of early stage diagnosis. _
