FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out morphologic studies of blood serum by examining synovial fluid and blood serum structure in polarized light. Two preparations are prepared with blood serum covering one of them and synovial fluid the other one. The preparations are covered with cover slides and hold under the same environment conditions until marked typical textures appear on the microscopic slides. Then, polarized light studies are carried out in turn on the preparations by examining the whole surface of each sample. The preparation examination results are compared. Similar spherulite-like textures with multiple point forms dominating or ones like spherulites and dendrites or ones like dendrites being detected, the textures are repeatedly compared. Starry sky picture texture being observed on the surface of both slides with multiple point spherulite forms dominating, rheumatoid arthritis is to be diagnosed. Texture with middle size separated dendrite forms dominating being observed on the first slide and small-size point spherulite forms being on the second slide, reactive arthritis is to be diagnosed. Middle size separated dendrite forms texture being observed on the first slide and texture having both multiple point spherulite forms and spherulites with dendrites forms being found on the second slide, osteoarthritis diagnosis is to be set. EFFECT: simplified, high speed test method.
