FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining imprint smears taken from lesion foci. The smears are stained with 50% silver nitrate solution AgNO3, with following Ag+ granules fixed in cell nucleus being counted using usual microscope. Granule number being equal to 3.86 ± 0.58%, progressive stage is to be diagnosed. The value being equal to 3.79 ± 0.69%, progressive to stationary stage is to be diagnosed. The value being equal to 3.66 ± 0.10%, stationary stage is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis; enhanced effectiveness psoriasis treatment control. 1 tbl
