FIELD: veterinary virology.
SUBSTANCE: the innovation deals with inoculation of finite cell line MDBK due to microanalysis in 96-cell culture trays. Then cell culture should be supplemented with cattle infectious rhinotracheitis virus at the dosage of 1-10 TCD50/cell to incubate cells with virus for about 1.5-2 h. Then one should add antiviral preparation at intoxic dosage of 50±1 mcg/ml. One should evaluate antiviral activity of ribavirin in 72 h of incubating cells and virus at 37±0.2C under atmospheric conditions of 5±0.2% CO2. The innovation enables to prevent toxic action of the preparation upon the cells due to decreasing its dosage and provides the chance to carry out therapy in earlier terms.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
