FIELD: timber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for forming bundles of timber on water bundling. Said device has two similar limiting movable uprights consisting of two folding parts with horizontal axle engaging with chains. Uprights are made in form of cross consisting of two similar shields with central axle and vertical tie-rod. Shields are furnished with weight in upper part from outside and are connected by flexible ties inside. Vertical tie-rod in its lower part is rigidly connected with axle and in its upper part is provided with ring. Chains consists of two falls (A-Б)/2 where A is width of formed bundle and Б is length of shield end width. Mass of shield weight exceeds mass of two falls of chain. EFFECT: reduced cost of raft forming. 3 dwg
