FIELD: wood water transport; wood floating in shallow rivers. SUBSTANCE: raft section includes separate pieces of round wood and wood stacks interconnected by means of ties and strainers. Separate pieces of round wood are laid between stacks in even layer whose thickness is equal to height of stacks; this layer is parallel to stacks. Upper couplings are rigid over width of raft section and lower flexible couplings embracing the stacks and separate pieces of wood from below and at sides are connected with ends of rigid couplings. Separate pieces of wood are separated in bundles equal in volume by vertical strainers which connect flexible and rigid couplings. EFFECT: reduced labor consumption. 2 dwg
