FIELD: testing parts by three-dimensional impact of dense plasma. SUBSTANCE: test facility using superhigh-intensity electromagnetic fields has bank of capacitors connected to switching discharger and to external coaxial electrode; discharger is connected to internal coaxial electrode and both electrodes are spaced apart by means of insulation. External electrode is made in top part in the form of hemisphere and internal one, in the form of hollow truncated cone; interelectrode space is contracted towards point of arc plasma focusing in radial and axial dimensions; electrodes are provided with radial slits and bank of capacitors is connected to electrodes symmetrically and axially. Said facility ensures synchronization of creeping discharge followed by its point collapse. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of plasma impact test facility. 1 dwg
